It's Christmas time!

Right before we cut the tree, 2 bald eagles flew over our heads! 2!!!

This is Grace's first encounter with Santa. She did not cry or freak out, but she definitely would NOT sit on his lap! Not so bad for the first time. We are going to "story time with Santa" at the library this weekend. We'll see how that goes...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Does this remind anyone of a classic Christmas movie? "I can't put my arms down!"

She was not too crazy about the sled at first...

We spent Thanksgiving with our friends at Georgetown Lake, about 2 hours from Helena. Here we are outside at the fire pit. There was plenty of snow, and it was not too cold!

Gotta love these two cuties. And also gotta love the retro sesame street music playing in the background. Grace is really into "ring around the rosie" right now, but this is the first time she tries to do it by herself.

Our friends came to visit this weekend, and Grace had a lot of fun with Ginger who is 3 months older than her. We haven't seen them since June, and it is so fun to watch them at an age when they play together!

So Grace didn't really get the whole Halloween thing. She did enjoy chasing leaves and standing at doors of houses and saying "knock knock". Oh, and she roared at every door. She was a very scary little bear...hahaha....

We went to the walking mall to do some "trick-or-treating". The stores all give out candy, and there were lots of people. Floyd, aka "superdog" got tons of attention...even more then Grace!! A random Mom ran up to Floyd with her kid dressed up as superman and absolutely had to take a picture with Floyd! He was feeling pretty special...

Here is Grace looking very suspiciously at Gumby and a fake Frankenstein. She gives everyone a "high five", but she would NOT give Gumby a high five. No way.

Here is Grace walking through the mini maze...though as you will see she became way more interested in the big jumping ride as soon as she spotted it. Seems as though she might like big rides...just like her parents! Don't think she will quite meet the height limit yet.

Hello summer, it was nice you stopped by to heat things up and start them on fire. Now it's time you leave again, see you next July.
