Floyd Leroy

Floyd has been my best friend and family member for the last 11.5 years. Over the course of the years he and I picked up a smokin-hot wife, moved to houses in about 7 different cities (5 states), fished many miles of nameless streams, squashed powder from Idaho to British Columbia, took roadtrips from Florida to Alaska, and most recently let Grace change his name to Roy. He was always along for the journey, and if I was doing something Floyd was probably doing it too.

Many out there had the pleasure of knowing Floyd. I like to think that everyone who knew him has at least 1 hilarious memory, because those moments happened all the time. Whether he was howling for another stick to be thrown; diving for rocks nearly too big to fit in his mouth; jumping out of the raft at the most inopportune time; attacking field mice/porcupines/squirrels/weasels/birds (yes, he did catch one out of the air); chasing whatever living thing would provide chase; or simply sleeping on his back with his legs spread wide, he never had a dull moment.

Floyd you will always be our first dog and probably the best. We will miss you dearly, and can't wait to see you in another life.
